THINGS TO DO TO PREPARE FOR EXAMS:
KNOW YOUR BLIND GRADING ID!
If you don’t know your 4- Digit Blind Grading ID number, go to eCampus and check it!
MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER! YOU WILL NOT GET EXTRA TIME FOR COMPUTER PROBLEMS. If you are unsure or have experienced lagging, please bring your computer to the Law Tech Help Desk, in the Bannan Student Lounge. There is limited computer support during the exam.
IF YOU HAVE NOT DOWNLOADED THE NEWEST VERSION OF SOFTEST 11.0:
1. Visit the SCU Examsoft homepage then click the ’Exam Takers’ link.
2. Log in using your Student ID from your ACCESS card.
3. Follow the instructions to Download & Install SofTest
4. Launch SofTest.
5. Register SofTest. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email.
TAKE THE MOCK PRACTICE EXAM
Take the Mock/Practice Exam in Softest as as many times as you would like to familiarize yourself with the Softest tools, such as spell check and word count. This is highly recommended.
DOWNLOAD YOUR EXAM FILES
You will be sent email with the links and instructions to download your exams shortly. You must download prior to your exam. There will not be time to download in the exam room. Once you have downloaded your files you will not receive email reminders. YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN EXTRA TIME TO DOWNLOAD YOUR EXAM FILES IN THE EXAM ROOM.
1. Double-click the SofTest icon on your Windows Desktop
2. Click ’Download Exam Files'
3. Enter your ID & Password
4. Do not enter a download password
HAVE YOUR ACCESS CARD WITH YOU!
You must have your Student ID (Access Card) with you for all exams. If you have lost yours, you need to go to the Access Card Office in Benson to get a replacement.
BRING YOUR OWN ETHERNET CABLES AND POWER CORDS TO THE EXAM!
Make sure you have a well charged battery and bring a power cord as an emergency power source. If you do not use the wireless you will need a cable to upload your answers at the end of the exam.
DOUBLE CHECK YOUR EXAM TIMES. THIS IS THE OFFICIAL SCHEDULE!
Remember room assignments may change so keep checking up until the day of your exam. It is your responsibility to know when and where your exam is taking place.
