Sara Ayazi earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Law and graduated with honors from Vassar College. She recently served as a temporary career counselor for the University of San Francisco School of Law. In this position, she counseled students on career options, interview techniques, and professional development. Prior to working in career services, Sara was an attorney for the University of Connecticut.

The Diversity Gala is an annual event, hosted by Santa Clara University, dedicated to celebrating diversity in the legal profession. In the past, the Diversity Gala has been able to attract about 300 guests a year, comprised of about 150 SCU Law Students and 150 members of the bench and bar.This year, Law Career Services is putting together a resume booklet for the practicing attorneys and judges in attendance to view before the Diversity Gala.

California Attorney General's Honors Program! 2 year paid fellowship!

The office will hire approximately 4 3Ls, JLCs, and Recent Graduates concluding a government or public-interest fellowship or in the 1st year of practice for its inaugural 2-year, paid ($3702/mo, increased to $4675/mo upon bar admission), 2012-14 Honors Program. Honors Attorneys will be based in San Francisco. 1 Honors Attorney will be designated as the Earl Warren Solicitor General Fellow and will work exclusively in the Solicitor General's Office. Full-time employment after the program is not guaranteed. Honors attorneys will work in the Civil, Criminal or Public Rights Sections, in accordance with preferences as closely as possible. Honors Attorneys will take the lead role in cases and independently draft motions and pleadings, help formulate Attorney General policy initiatives and draft legislation, and participate in formal training sessions designed to develop litigation skills.
