The application deadline for PI/PS day is January 20. We will demonstrate the application process to students, and answer questions about the event.

The Public Interest Clearinghouse (PIC) sent an e-mail on Dec. 15 to all current SCU students with login and password information for the application system that will be used for Public Interest / Public Sector Day.  Make sure that you read all messages sent from PIC, and PIC's Public Interest Law Director, Althea Smiley.

Public Interest/Public Sector Day Advising

PI/PS Day is coming up in February, and all resumes must be submitted by January 20 (a week from Friday!).

Law Career Services strongly recommends that you have one of us look over your resume and cover letter before submitting them.

Peter and Braeden, the coordinators of Public Interest Law Career Services, are available to review resumes and cover letters and offer recommendations for improvements specifically tailored towards landing a public interest or public sector job. We have office hours for appointments and drop-in visits from 11am to 5pm Monday and Wednesday and 1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Loyola 151. We are also available evenings and Fridays by appointment.

Peter and Braeden will also be doing drop in hours in the Bannan lobby from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Thursday both this week and next week. After January 20th we will be available during that time in our office (Loyola 151) in addition to our regular office hours.
