Responsibilities:
The Litigation Counsel will be a member of NBCUniversal’s in-house West Coast Television Litigation Group, reporting to the VP, Litigation. The Litigation Counsel will be responsible for handling disputes and litigating cases as counsel-of-record and by partnering with outside counsel on matters including general commercial litigation, breach of contract cases, employment matters, intellectual property disputes, defamation claims, profit participation lawsuits, and others.
Essential Responsibilities:
Analyzing claims and formulating litigation strategy
Conducting fact investigations and legal research
Drafting legal papers, including pleadings, declarations, discovery demands and responses
Handling or assisting with depositions and court proceedings
Counseling on dispute avoidance and resolution
Managing and partnering with outside counsel, as needed
Addressing and responding to the VP, Litigation on any other matters
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
JD Degree and Bar Admission
At least 4 years litigation experience, including at a nationally recognized law
Eligibility Requirements:

Strong written and oral presentation skills

Experience in entertainment litigation
