Indianapolis Bar Association 2011 Diversity Job Fair (Deadline July 18th)
May 05, 2011 at 12:06 PM

Are you passionate about starting your career in a Midwestern city that has both cosmopolitan style and small-town charm? Looking to meet legal employers from large, medium and small firms, as well as government agencies, corporations and members of the judiciary? Get a jump start on creating lasting relationships at the 2011 IndyBar Diversity Job Fair.
It's all in the numbers: Through the 3 previous IndyBar Diversity Job Fairs, hundreds of students from law schools throughout the country have interviewed with Indianapolis-based law firms, government agencies and corporate legal employers. In 2010, over 30 second interviews were held and even in this tough economy, more than a dozen jobs were extended and accepted.
Employers will be hiring clerks or interns, not offering permanent placement; they will expect to interview 2Ls or those graduating spring 2013/2014 based on full or part-time status.
Perks of attendance include a chance to be awarded one of at least two $2,500 scholarships that will be presented to interviewing students and extra networking opportunities such as a welcome reception where students can meet employers and members of the judiciary in a casual setting.
The student registration deadline is July 18, 2011, so register today! Students, register via Symplicity at https://law-indybar-csm.symplicity.com/students/. After you register, a password will be provided to you, which enables you to use the system throughout the next few months. There is NO FEE for students to register for the IndyBar Diversity Job Fair.
