Bush approves first military execution since 1961

The Bush Administration has approved the first execution by the military since 1961. It marks the first execution since the death penalty, for the military, was reinstated by the Reagan Administration in 1984. The case involved Private Ronald Gray, who was sentenced to death for a series of rapes and murders 20 years ago. The NY Times has an article about Pvt.
