Make Law School Earn a Third Year
January 18, 2013 at 8:46 AM

This is a link to today's New York Times op-ed by Daniel B. Rodriguez, the Dean of Northwestern University School of Law, and Samuel Estreicher, a professor at New York University Law School. The two make an argument for allowing students to take the bar and begin practice after completing two years of law school. One reason for their remarks is today’s meeting at NYU to consider a rule change which would allow law students to do so in the State of New York. Professor Estreicher's article on the topic from the New York University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy is here.
