Sunday’s New York Times includes an article about tribunal lawyers’ protests against the arrest of one of their colleagues, Peter Erlinder: Lawyers Report Intimidation by Rwanda by Josh Kron. According to the article, 11 lawyers at the tribunal in Arusha, Tanzania, have requested postponements, at least 40 have signed a petition asking the I.C.T.R. to guarantee their security, and one has been held in contempt. Mr. Erlinder is awaiting trial in Kigali, Rwanda.
