Today’s Scout Report includes information about and a link to the International Center for Research on Women, formed in 1976 to foster gender equality and the empowerment of women.
The website’s What We Do tab provides information about ICRW initiatives such as efforts to prevent child marriage, projects related to HIV/AIDS and its impact on women, violence against women, food safety, etc. The ICRW Library Link, under the Publications tab, provides downloadable text of some recent publications, such as Ann Warner’s Recognizing Rights Promoting Progress: The Global Impact of CEDAW.
