Information about Sexual Assault on College Campuses

From today’s Scout Report, a link to information about sexual assaults on college campuses. The Center for Public Integrity has put together the website -- Sexual Assault on Campus: A Frustrating Search for Justice – based on interviews with students and research at crisis centers and clinics on and near U.S. colleges. A section entitled “Understanding the Law” includes a brief discussion of Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1992, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the Clery Act), and their effect on the way campus sexual assault is reported and adjudicated on college campuses.
