Exercise and Brain Power
December 01, 2011 at 1:41 PM

Here’s more from the New York Times about how exercise can improve your thinking: How Exercise Benefits the Brain by Gretchen Reynolds. The article discusses a recent Irish study among sedentary male college students. Those who exercised did better on memory tests than those who sat quietly. So, while we’re happy to have you in the law library, you might want to consider leaving occasionally to work up a sweat or just to talk about your exams where that discussion won’t disturb the people around you. EVERYBODY has exams this month.

An earlier article on the benefits of exercise appeared two years ago, but not in the midst of exams. The New York Times is available on Lexis, so you don’t need to pay per view for material in their archives.
