The second oral argument in the U.S. Supreme Court today also involves a case originating in California. At issue in the Quon case (08-1332) is whether an employee has privacy rights when using employer provided equipment. The case involves a police sergeant who used a pager not only for work, but also for text messaging his wife and mistress.
