Description: The Advocate is the student run newspaper for Santa Clara University Law School, and is dedicated to bringing relevant legal and non-legal news to the eyes and minds of every student. The Advocate is not a Journal, but rather a publication to inform and entertain law students about important events and developments on and off of the campus. We are dedicated to bringing a high quality literary product, while engaging the readership and participation from as many of our fellow students as possible.
This year we will embark on a special endeavor to increase alumni participation and involvement with The Advocate. We aim to more cogently connect the Law School's current students with its former students, and to foster a greater community between the two to increase awareness and opportunity for future employment. This mission parallels our traditional goal of providing worthy reading material and aims for a nexus between the two that will continue to benefit future law students at SCU.
Mission Statement: The Advocate aims to be the voice of the entire law student body. Our mission is to encourage progression and uncover truth using the power of dialogue and discussion.
