Leadership Skills for Law Student Leaders

This course will introduce and explore theories and competencies of leadership as a skill critical for current student organization leaders and future practicing lawyers. Through required readings, written assignments, and in-class exercises including several team negotiations or mediations, we will focus on personal development, communication, and problem-solving skills. Assignments will draw from case studies and students’ experiences. Enrollment preference given to active leaders of Santa Clara Law student organizations.
