In 1975, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws recommended to the states the adoption of its Uniform Land Transactions Act, and in 1985 the National Conference recommended to the states the adoption of a revised Article 3 of the Uniform Land Transactions Act, titled the Uniform Land Security Interest Act.  In stark contrast to the universal state adoption of the Uniform Commercial Code, no state has followed these recommendations.
