For example, seizure of a piece of equipment used in the debtor's business or garnishment of the accounts receivable of the business may prevent the business from continuing to operate, or garnishment of a wage earning debtor's wages may make it difficult for the debtor to support herself or her family.  In some cases, however, attachment is accomplished by filing of a notice of attachment with the relevant state office; such a filing will not physically disrupt the continuation of the debtor's business.
